The Players
Website mastermind Jennifer Crawford is an international CPA from southern California who travels the globe in search of fun and adventure. She currently resides on two continents and is hoping to latch on to a few more. A 2004 epiphany provided clarity that her tax practice was really just a cover for her real occupation as ‘professional traveler’. The current website was launched as a more mature and useful version of her popular travel blog, www.whereisjennifer.com.
The website’s gifted designer, Heather Balagh, is a professional traveler in training. She resides in southern California and tackles with great panache web design projects from all over the globe. To her credit, she is married to a foreign national.
The Purpose
In short, Professional Traveler’s raison d’être is threefold:
- to provide an outlet for real travelers to write real stories about their international adventures, unfettered by the rules and restrictions of published writing
- to provide useful, immediate, and to-the-point travel information without interference by annoying advertisements
- to provide an organized system of forums for travelers to chitchat, obtain advice, and float ideas regarding any and all things travel.
The Program
If you would like to submit a cool and interesting travel article for consideration, please email to editor at professionaltraveler.com. Accompanying photos are highly desirable and should be no more than 550 pixels wide.
Please be aware that this website exists totally for the joy of sharing experiences. In other words, there’s no dough involved. But we can confirm that it’s a lot of fun to see your name, article, and photos in a place where plenty of people can read them!
